How it Works...

Our Online Master Class will follow a Classroom rhythm to help you stay focused on your goals, stay creatively engaged and deeply explore all of the topics.

Your Masterclass intensive begins with an introduction and chat about the "why" behind the development of this class. On the first day of class you'll receive access to an in depth discussion video featuring Faith and Mati as they offer a deep dive exploration of all the topics that we'll cover. Over the course of the next 2 weeks we’ll uncover a new module lesson each day for you to dive deeply into, with worksheets, exercises and lots of support from both Faith and Mati. You’ll receive so many prompts offering further exploration and personal development for you to take forward, along with action steps to get you further aligned with your dreams and a road map to get there. We've designed the lessons in each module, to be bite sized chunks that will build on each other, so that as the class progresses you'll go slowly and surely towards your goals. Remember, all of this content is yours to keep forever, so you’ll be able to go back again and again! You can revisit each lesson as much as you want for ultimate integration. At the end of the class you'll receive a downloadable PDF containing all of the course journal prompts, to have at your finger tips in the studio & take your explorations deeper over time.

Who is this class for?

• This online class is open to all skill levels, all artists & creative spirits looking to dive more deeply into finding and developing their personal creative voice in their art. If you are longing to reinvigorate and deepen your painting practice, more clearly define what makes your art “yours”, and expand your personal voice in their paintings, then this class is for you! While we are coming at this from the perspective of two life long artists, this class will be perfect for anyone in a creative field: interior designers, graphic designers, calligraphers…all would benefit deeply from the work we will do in this masterclass.

Is this a studio class, will there be art lessons?

• There will not be any painting instructional lessons in this class. Rather, this will be a master class focused on the foundation of your studio practice, the energy & intention behind your art. This class will focus on leading you though the exciting topic of finding your creative voice in your art, through written lessons and essays, inspiration prompts, and assignments in which you will be asked to go deeply within, exploring your heart & soul through writing prompts.

What will I gain from taking this course?

• You will gain renewed clarity in your creative voice and learn how to continually return to it when you are feeling aimless and stuck! We'll share our knowledge, about how to listen to and nurture your authentic voice in your work. This is not a studio class, we won't be sharing any painting instruction with you since we offer lots of other classes about how to create your work. This class will be a master class focused on the foundation of your studio practice, the energy & intention behind your art. Your personal vision and everything that you are drawn to all come together to form the very essence of what you convey through through your art, we'll be exploring that element that makes people know that it is yours and your alone. We've gained all of this knowledge over 20 years of personal painting experience and through our time in Art School, we want to share what we've gained with you.

Will I have access to Faith & Mati?

• Yes! You will have access to Faith and Mati in the discussions in our online classroom.

How long will I have access to the course material?  

• You'll have lifetime access to all course material & workshop content, to enjoy, explore and dive into as many times as you like. You simply need to be logged into your account on Ruzuku, the site that hosts my online classes, to access the workshop!

Do I have to complete all the projects?

• You will have lifetime access to the course material in our online classroom, so you can go at your own pace, but we recommend that you keep up with the group to get the most our of your masterclass experience! We want this class to feed your inspiration, and be a receptive place where you can relax, develop ideas and gain energy for your art practice. We also want you to grow and succeed, so we will be discussing the worksheets, homework and other action steps that we will give you in our weeks together.

How does the online class work?

• We'll have our own easy to access password protected online classroom where you'll have access to the first lesson starting the first day of class. Every day, for 2 weeks, you’ll receive a new module in our online classroom. Each module will be thematically aligned with taking us deeper into the topic of Finding Your Creative Voice. You will receive an email when each new lesson is available. After the class ends, the complete online class will be yours to review and enjoy forever. You can access all of the lessons as your own schedule permits, and in your own time zone.

How does sign up work?

• After you click the Register Now button below, you'll be directed to my online e-course host Ruzuku to sign up and pay. You'll create your own personal account with Ruzuku which you'll use to sign in and access our online classroom. When a new lesson is available in our online classroom you will receive an email letting you know.

Do you offer refunds?

A bit more about our teachers...

Faith is a painter, wife, mother, world traveler and creative guide making her home in sunny Charleston, South Carolina. After 15+ years in New York City Faith craved a closer daily connection to nature, so she took the leap moving her family to the South Carolina coast in 2011. In her work, Faith draws inspiration from nature’s wild and small moments; from love, textiles and most importantly, the relationships that shape her. Classically trained in painting with a BFA from Skidmore College and an MFA from Parsons School of Design, along with over twenty years of personal painting experience, Faith enjoys inspiring others to manifest their most heartfelt ideas through creating art. Her first book, Painting the Sacred Within, a guide to art techniques for expressing your authentic inner voice, was published in 2017 with Northlight Press. She is a well-loved teacher both online, across the United States and internationally at her annual art retreats in Morocco, Costa Rica and Mexico. Faith’s paintings have been exhibited widely and included in numerous books and publications including Painted Blossoms, Paint Lab, Color Lab, Seventeen, Calm, Happinez and Mabel Magazine. Her art has also been featured on designs for Anne Taylor Company Lou & Grey. Follow along on Instagram where she posts daily beauty and inspiration.

Mati is an artist and daring adventurer whose name is pronounced Matey, like Ahoy! She is an Oakland, California based artist, illustrator, painting teacher and author of Daring Adventures in Paint.  After wanting to be an artist for many years, but feeling like it was “impractical”, at 29 years Mati took the leap and went back to art school at the California College of the Arts. Almost 10 years later, she is still excited and terrified every time she sees a blank canvas. She has had dozens of art shows, taught painting classes internationally and had her art used by clients Patagonia, University Games, Pier 1, as well as greeting cards, and her very own home decor line. She also has illustrated several children’s books including “i carry your heart” written by ee cummings. Through her workshops, book, and popular online course, she spreads a warm message of creative courage: it’s never too late to show the world your magic.
